This hotel is located close to the historic district of Istanbul, the Sultanahmet. From the Tayhan, it is a short journey to such notable sites as the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Hippodrome. The Sultanahmet is also convenient to the famous Grand Bazaar. Ataturk International Airport is not far from this hotel. The facility is most easily reached via taxi or by private transportation.
There are just fewer than 50 rooms available at this hotel. Each of the rooms at the Tayhan Hotel is provided with satellite television service, a wireless Internet connection and a private bath. There are hairdryers in the bathrooms. Air conditioning is also a standard amenity.

Ideal for the budget traveller who wants to be in the city center of Istanbul (JMG 03/09) The hotel has used a 70′s style building of 6 floors The Tayhan Hotel is located in the Old Town, in an area called Kumkapi, the neighbourhood of the fish village, and is really close to Sultanhamet. The hotel is within five minutes walk of the Blue mosque, Grand Bazaar and all other main attractions in the old city. The modern area, with the centre in Taksim, is only a few kilometres away and is easily reached with a short taxi ride. Due its location, the hotel is easily reach from the airport. The hotel has just went into a deep renovation and has a great value for money.
